Bruce and I recently spent a few days in Austin, Texas at the Re/Max Luxury Real Estate Conference. Before the conference started I took the course to become a member of The Institute of Luxury Homes, earning the designations of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and Million Dollar Guild, while Bruce hung out at the pool in the Texas sunshine!!! It was an amazing opportunity to connect with other like-minded Real Estate Professionals from across North America and exchange info about our varied Markets and business ideas. In this business we never know when a client may be transferred out of town and it’s such a huge comfort to be able to refer them to a competent and trusted Realtor in that area that you have actually connected with.
We did squeeze in some time for fun, although the cocktail networking receptions were really tough!!! The Riverwalk in San Antonio has been on my list for a few years, so I was delighted to discover that we were only a 90minute drive away. With Bruce at the wheel, we headed off for a great day in San Antonio. Not only did we enjoy the Riverwalk area, but having met Cheryl from the Re/Max office in San Antonio at the Course, she gave us the inside scoop on an area built around an old hotel called the Hotel Emma. Some of you may have seen my “amateur” instagram post from there!
