Is it a good time to move?

Is it a good time to move?

Well isn’t this the BIG topic of conversation just about everywhere? With all the “noise” and conflicting information and predictions out there about the Real Estate Market and Home Values it’s no wonder people are perplexed.

If your current home no longer suits your lifestyle and your needs then it’s the right time to move. For example, maybe you don’t want the maintenance and empty bedrooms of your family home now the kids have moved on; perhaps you’ve had a promotion at work that will enable you to move to a better neighbourhood or a larger home with some of the features you’ve dreamed of; the commute for work or distance from family is taking a toll on your quality of life; a better school catchment area now that the kids are ready for elementary or high school; you have some capital you can afford to invest in an income property; there are so many reasons it’s a good time to move.

Don’t get bogged down by all the conflicting information and predictions depending on which TV Channel you watch, the newspaper you read or the financial analyst or economist you listen to. Your home is your “comfort place” where you love to spend time with your special people and the decision to move should be based on what’s best for you. Interest rates will fluctuate, neighbourhoods will gain and wain in popularity, government policies will change, issues that we can’t control but the decision to move and improve our quality of life is within our control.

So, if it makes sense for you right now to consider a move, let’s talk!
