Easter Blog | Family Update

Hey everyone

Hope you’re all doing well and finding creative ways to stay in touch with your family and friends during this Easter weekend. It’s nice to see Spring is here and we can look forward to Summer just around the corner. With the arrival of Spring we tend to focus more on the outside of our homes and our gardens. We are no exception, so this year we have taken the money we had allocated for vacation, and decided to invest in some refurbishing of our backyard and pool.

After a great recommendation from one of our Clients, we have opted to work with Mirage Pools in Burlington to install the new Pool Liner. We are also having the stairs re-coated and changing colour from white to a deep blue to compliment the new liner. The work began on Monday with the removal of our existing liner, so the backyard is not looking too pretty right now with the large concrete hole! We’ll be sure to share some photos when the work is completed. We are always interested to see pics of your latest project!

Bruce, as always, is thrilled that I’ve embarked on yet another improvement project!!! I recently reached out to Chris Weatherhead, a highly recommended local Oakville Arborist to take care of some pruning and fertilizing of our trees around the back and front gardens. We have a beautiful Japanese Maple in our front garden, which I love, that I have been reluctant to meddle with. Apparently they are quite temperamental so I think it’s best left to the professional to deal with that one!!!

We are so fortunate to have connected with many trusted Contract Professionals over the years who we know will do an excellent job for us. If you’re ever in need of a recommendation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we can refer someone trustworthy and reliable. We’ve had quite a few of you reach out recently and it’s great to be able to connect you with someone we know can help.

Also, if you’re thinking of maybe making a move in the near future but are hesitant because of the media coverage of record high Real Estate prices and bidding wars, give us a call and we can help put things in perspective. Remember, while you may pay more for that new home, your existing house will also realize a considerably higher price than last year, helping to keep that price margin manageable.
