As more businesses are opening up, we are all hopefully beginning to feel more confident. We celebrated Jonathon’s Birthday this past week, and while we couldn’t enjoy celebrating at our usual spot, Peller Estates Winery Restaurant in Niagara on the Lake, we had a great time on the patio at The Keg Oakville. We’ve also been to the patio at Pure and Simple, a recently opened breakfast place just off Trafalgar Road. Both venues were so welcoming and glad to have patrons come back. Obviously, new protocols are in place, but it was great to be out among people. This morning we are off to a personal favorite for Brunch, Studebaker Burlington. This is a family-run Gastropub owned by some amazing people, Naomi and Anand Maharaj, who have worked tirelessly to keep their business going with curbside pickup and delivery. We’re looking forward to enjoying their hospitality again on their extended patio. We would love to hear about your favorite spots and if you’ve had a chance to enjoy them yet.
A few of our clients have shared their recent home and backyard renos. Keep them coming, we love to see what you’re up to and the creative ways you are enhancing your properties. We haven’t done a whole lot in our gardens, just added some new lighting and general sprucing up to enjoy for the summer. It was so nice to see kids able to enjoy the splash pad near to us the other day while we were out walking, hopefully it won’t be too long until they can play on the swings again.
